Youtube
I am quite amazed what people will place on Youtube. When we were kids and young adults, the crazy things we did could be buried where no one would ever find it. Now it is something that can haunt you world wide forever.
On the other side, this eventually will provide everyone the ability to get their fifteen minutes of fame ..... hopefully with something of their own choosing. Like so many things, the quality is minimal, the entertainment value seems to be fairly brief and the usefulness may be everyone experiencing the same thing will unify us as a people.
Flickr
I think the uploading onto Flickr is less personal in some ways....we are usually looking through a lens at the world outside of us, where Youtube is turning a camera facing out more so than facing at ourselves. Many of the images located on Flickr were breath taking and very beautiful.
