Do you see free online tools like these eventually replacing expensive software like MS Office?
As the library has already been in discussion to no longer use the Microsoft product due to the cost, I can easily see this as becoming the route that is taken. I am intrigued by this as the information that google has in relation to its users is increasing daily. I think of the method they used in overriding the rights of authors to control their works by requesting the permission to publish their works/ or parts of it, the authors themselves must claim their rights. I am wondering what that means for all information on google at some point.
